Cancellation, amendment, and refund terms for IMT translation bookings.

We understand that examination dates can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both candidates and our translators, who must reserve their time well in advance of your examination.
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on notice given and whether a translator has already been assigned. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
In the unlikely event that your assigned translator is unable to attend your examination and we cannot provide a replacement with sufficient notice, you will receive a full refund. We will also make reasonable efforts to arrange a replacement at short notice.
If your examination is cancelled or postponed by IMT or the examination centre, you may reschedule your booking at no charge or receive a full refund. Please notify us as soon as possible with evidence of the cancellation.
To cancel, reschedule, or request a refund, email support@centronacionaldeexames.pt with your booking reference number and the reason for your request. Please allow up to 2 business days for a response. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and cannot be issued as cash or to a different card.
These refund terms comply with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and applicable Portuguese consumer protection legislation. As a consumer, you may have additional rights that these terms do not limit.
